A Good Person Doesn't Keep Your Mind Busy
People often say
they want to meet a good person.
But surprisingly,
many don't know what that really means.
A good person
isn't someone who keeps you thinking all day.
"Why haven't they replied?"
"Did I do something wrong?"
"Are they losing interest?"
A good person doesn't fill your mind
with endless questions.
Instead,
they give your heart a place to rest.
Even when they reply late,
there is trust.
Even when you're apart,
there is peace.
You don't constantly need reassurance
because you already feel secure.
That's why healthy relationships
are often quiet.
Not dramatic.
Not chaotic.
Not exhausting.
Just comfortable.
You don't have to carefully choose every word.
You don't have to pretend to be perfect.
You don't have to earn love every day.
You simply feel accepted.
Many people mistake excitement for love.
But excitement often comes
with uncertainty.
Real love feels different.
It comes with peace.
With safety.
With trust.
Perhaps finding the right person
isn't about making your heart race.
Perhaps it's about finding someone
who helps your heart rest.
So ask yourself:
Does this person make me happy?
Or do they simply make me anxious?
A good person
doesn't keep your mind busy.
They make your heart feel at home.
